EVALUATOR FUNDAMENTALS:
A course for veteran instructors who have shown their ability to observe and judge pilot performance. For AQP Evaluators, the program should include all topics under Evaluator Indoctrination in AC 120-54 (Advanced Qualification Program). This instruction is accomplished primarily in a classroom setting.

EVALUATOR QUALIFICATION:

A course for new evaluators to develop specific skills required by airline checking. Some potential topics are: Initial Operating Experience Signoff; Line Checks; Performance Standards; Proficiency Checks; Evaluating Human Factors Skills (Applying Benchmarks). For AQP Evaluators, the program should include all topics under Evaluator Qualification in AC 120-54 (Advanced Qualification Program). This instruction is accomplished primarily in a classroom setting.

EVALUATOR CONTINUING QUALIFICATION:

This course is an annual requirement for veteran evaluators to enhance, update, and maintain each Evaluator's knowledge, skills, and abilities. According to AC 120-54 (Advanced Qualification Program), each AQP Evaluator's continuing qualification curriculum should include a schedule for critical examination of each evaluator's standardization and abilities. This instruction is accomplished primarily in a classroom setting. There is a practical component that requires a simulator.

LOE INTER-RATER RELIABILITY TRAINING:

Using controlled evaluation videos the program is designed to standardize evaluators of both human factors and technical performance. By means of group and individual feedback, the objective is to empirically increase instructor inter-rater reliability. This instruction is accomplished primarily in a classroom setting.
